Designing for soaring high
while being grounded.

The Binsar Birding Festival is held every year in the mountains of Uttarakhand, on the grounds of the Khali Estate, a British-era lodge now turned into a boutique hotel. The hills and valleys of the region are a haven for birds and birdwatchers. We created the collateral for the inaugural festival taking inspiration from the over 200 species of avian life in the area, particularly the distinctive woodpecker that loves Kumaon’s oak glades, pine forests and fir cones. Since the birding festival is held during the season of the rhododendron bloom, we picked the beautiful floral scarlet as the primary colour.
