An re-illuminated identity for a century-old educational institute.
Founded in 1919 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, Mahesh Shikshan Sansthan offers 6,500 students English- and Hindi-medium education, from primary to the postgraduate level.
We were commissioned to modernise the logo and the visual architecture, bringing both into the twenty first century while keeping their historic souls alive.
We retained the lotus and the lamp elements of the old logo while contemporising the design. We also preserved the Devanagari in the logo but introduced English to reflect the diverse offerings of the organisation today.
For the Hindi typesetting we worked with the typographer Sarang Kulkarni.
